The Image

This is the scarlet malachite beetle pair, the male and female side by side. These beautiful beetles are limited to a handful of site in the UK, we have been lucky enough to be part of the conservation project for many years. During courtship, the pair nods towards each other, their antenna becoming intertwined

Material

This giclée print is reproduced from Ian’s original  watercolour and pen and ink drawing.

The prints are beautifully printed onto sustainable Hahnemühle Hemp 290gsm Fine Art Paper. An eco friendly paper, with a natural white tone. It has a subtle surface giving the paper a pleasant, silky feel.

Frame not included.
