Learn about gulls
The Gulls and Buoys book describes the lifestyles of nine birds including the kittiwake, fulmar and black headed gull. Bird watching can be a lifetime of enjoyment and this is a great place to start.
In two parts, the book helps youngsters learn about the birds in two ways. The first half is written in rhyme, it introduces each bird in a fun memorable way. The second half is a list of facts about each bird such as wingspan, lifestyle etc. Each of the birds is illustrated perched on a buoy.
There’s even a tick chart, so when you’ve seen the particular bird you can keep a record of it. The books are 44 pages of bird fun.
Bird lovers young and old will love this fun book. It even gets the herring gull seal of approval 🙂
The book is a great accompaniment to the Gulls and Buoys T-shirt.
Written and illustrated by Ian and Ben, the book aims to encourage youngsters to find out more about the amazing natural world, and be able to wow grown ups with their new found knowledge.
