About the basking shark picture

The Basking shark (Cetorhinus maximus) was hand drawn by Ian using pen and ink. Inspired by a  fascination with these beautiful sharks after watching a documentary many years ago.  The Jacques Cousteau film Shark started a then six year old Ian with a lifelong passion for sea life. Did you know that the basking shark is the world’s second biggest fish and the biggest fish in British waters.

This children’s Basking Shark T-shirt will come with a free info leaflet all about the shark, empowering young nature lovers with knowledge about their favourite creatures. The four page a6 leaflet is packed with basking shark facts and illustrations.

About the T-shirt

T-shirts have a GOTS certificate (Global Organic Textile Standard) and are made by a Fair Wear company.

The Shark T-shirt is available in five sizes

• Ages 3-4 Years: Half chest 34cm – Length 43cm
• Ages 5-6 Years: Half chest 36cm – Length 47cm
• Ages 7-8 Years: Half chest 38cm – Length 52cm
• Ages 9-11 Years: Half chest 42cm – Length 59cm
• Ages 12-13: Half Chest 46cm – Length  66cm

And in a choice of two colours

• Melon
• Slate Green

We’ll print your T-shirt to order here in our basement in west Wales. The design is hand printed with black, planet friendly, water-based, toxic-free ink. Please allow up to a week for us to print your T-shirt for you, although we’re usually quicker than that.

T-shirts can be washed at 30 degrees, reshape whilst damp, tumble drying isn’t recommended..

Your T-shirt will be sent to you in plastic free packaging by Royal Mail 48 hr tracked delivery.
