Super Nettle T-shirt
The Super Nettle T-shirt released on Earth Day to celebrate the much maligned and so important nettle! T-shirts are 100% organic cotton, super soft and lovely to wear. You can spread the message about how important nettles are while you’re wearing it.
About the nettle image
The super nettle idea has been brewing for some time, the image is a hand drawn nettle leaf with the S cut-out reminiscent of that famous super hero.
You can read all about how important nettles are to our native invertebrates in Ian’s blog. We would have far less butterflies and ladybirds if it weren’t for nettles, so we think that makes them heroes! The T-shirt is a little reminder that we should all leave even the tiniest area of the garden to plants like nettles, dock, thistles, dandelions and other native beauties to ensure the security of our native invertebrates.
The T-shirt
The T-shirts are made from 100% beautifully soft organic cotton. They’re vegan certified. Hand Printed with planet friendly water based inks.
You can choose to have your t-shirt in a lovely forest green colour, with the nettle leaf printed in black. Or if you prefer you can have the t-shirt in a natural colour, with the nettle printed in a vibrant green.
We will hand print your T-shirt to order, here in Ceredigion using water based inks, which adds to the softness of the nettle T-shirt. It also means you can iron over the design.
We print to order to avoid waste. All T-shirts are hand screen printed.
