The Artwork is a look at the now extinct Steller’s sea cow. It’s a reconstruction based on the observations of Georg Steller. The sea cow’s were discovered in 1741, sadly the last record of them was just 27 years later! How did such a beautiful creature become extinct?
On the reverse, of the postcard is a place to write your message, add an address, and put a stamp.
Or you could frame it and use it to decorate a room.
Despite our digital age, a handwritten message on paper is probably still one of the most beautiful and powerful means of expression we have.
