Nettle Fine Art Print
The Nettle Fine Art Print is A3 (29.7 x 42 cm) a celebration of the importance of this seemingly annoying plant to the future of our invertebrates!
The Image
Nettle – Urtica dioica. What can you say about the stinging nettle? It hurts, it’s a nuisance, it takes over the garden! But it is also a life source to so many of our beautiful native invertebrates. Without it there would be less peacock butterflies, commas, red admirals, small tortoiseshells, ladybirds and so many more.
The wild corner is a celebration of our lesser loved but so important wildflowers and a plea to allow just a small corner of your garden to run wild, allowing these important plants to flourish. You can read more about it (and find a nettle soup recipe!) here.
