The curled octopus is the most common and most likely octopus to be found in UK waters. Also know as the lesser or horned octopus. Its larger cousin the common octopus lives further south and is only occasionally found here. Octopus are highly intelligent problem solvers but only live for two or 3 years. Material

This giclée print is reproduced from Ian’s original pen and ink drawing and will add a talking point to any room.

The prints are beautifully printed onto sustainable Hahnemühle Hemp 290gsm Fine Art Paper. An eco friendly paper, with a natural white tone. It has a subtle surface giving the paper a pleasant, silky feel.

Hemp is a resource saving plant whose robust and long-lasting fibres have been a part of paper production for centuries, most notably used for the Gutenberg Bible and US Declaration of Independence. The image is printed using archival quality, Fine Art Trade Guild approved printers, inks and papers — tests have shown the prints can last over 100 years.
