The compass jellyfish is a beautiful creature. Her crown is the compass pattern of speckly brown chevrons that point to the centre of the bell where there is usually a circle of speckly brown pigment too. This pattern varies tremendously from jellyfish to jellyfish. On the back cover of the notebook is information about  this amazing creature.
